"02) I’ve always just been a lurker, but I’m writing my very first post! I recently gave birth to my baby and hired a postpartum caregiver. Based on recommendations from acquaintances and posts on MissyUSA, I contacted several postpartum doulas, but many had full schedules. I ended up booking three caregivers in total (two live-in + one commuting / I’m currently staying with the second caregiver), and I’m posting this review because the first caregiver we worked with was just so wonderful. (This is 100% my own paid experience; I was not asked to write this review nor did I receive any benefits for writing it!) I met the caregiver through a personal referral. Since she lives out of state, she mentioned that she only does live-in service for New Jersey, and I did 3 weeks (15 days) with her. 1. Baby Care First of all, she takes care of the baby so amazingly well. Honestly, I’m the type of person who doesn't care about anything else as long as the baby is well cared for, and she truly cared for the baby extraordinarily well. Even if the baby whimpered just a little bit, she immediately caught what was uncomfortable and solved it. We were clueless first-time parents coming home from the hospital, but we learned so much (we had bought the Baby Brezza and sterilizer but hadn't even set them up, and she showed us everything, and she even helped us with putting the baby in the car seat when we struggled). When the baby’s nose was clogged and the breathing and crying sounded stuffy, we panicked as first-time parents, but she cleared out the mucus and boogers right away. She adored the baby so much. Naturally, she took care of the baby overnight so I could sleep peacefully without worry. 2. Meals Her cooking skills are also excellent. She made great use of ingredients already in the fridge and requested minimal grocery shopping for only what was necessary. (I heard some caregivers request excessive groceries, but she wasn't like that at all. On the contrary, even when I told her to throw away unused ingredients, she thriftily used everything, saying it was a waste to throw away fresh food.) She also prepared a wide variety of menus. When I told her I prefer light breakfasts, she focused on yogurt, oatmeal (she told me it helps increase milk supply), and egg dishes. For lunch and dinner, she cooked various delicious meals so we never got tired of eating. Thanks to her, my husband ate really well too. 3. Massage (Breastfeeding Success!) Because I had a C-section, there was no sign of colostrum coming out during my 3-night, 4-day hospital stay (a lactation consultant came to check and consult at the hospital, but didn't really do much; just gave standard advice like 'keep putting the baby on even if nothing comes out, stimulate with a pump'). But on the very first day the caregiver arrived, she gave me a duct-unblocking massage, and milk started coming out immediately (super amazing). It was really painful when getting the massage at first. She told me that if we hadn't done it that day, I might have suffered from severe mastitis. After getting two more massages (3 times in total), my breast milk started flowing smoothly. She never forced breastfeeding or pumping at all, and when I asked her to feed formula at night, she did so. It was so great because she adjusted according to what the mother wanted. (I occasionally heard that some caregivers enforce their own ways and stress the mothers out, but she had zero of that.) Her personality is also wonderful. Having a stranger in the house could feel uncomfortable, but there was zero discomfort. I heard these days some caregivers can be demanding (e.g., refusing live-in unless given a separate room, insisting on strict break times, etc.), but she wasn't demanding at all. (Since we have two rooms, we let her sleep in the baby's room.) Since every caregiver matches differently with each person, I can't guarantee she'll be perfect for everyone just because she was great for me, but she was such a wonderful person that I decided to leave a review. If you're interested, try contacting the number below! (Feel free to contact her directly and proceed if you like!) Caregiver Anna (If you mention that you contacted her upon recommendation from a New Jersey July '26 live-in mother, she will know~) If you have any further questions regarding the caregiver, please feel free to reach out via my Open KakaoTalk."

"0 Mastitis Cases! 8-Week Review of HappyMom's Caregiver Michelle Hwang If you are looking for a 'meticulous caregiver whom you can trust completely,' I confidently recommend Caregiver Michelle Hwang. Every mother prioritizes different things, but Caregiver Michelle was someone who quickly identified what the mother needed and provided meticulous care accordingly. Beyond simply doing her job well, seeing how she truly understood the mother's heart made me realize, 'Ah, this is why she is a veteran.' I am personally very sensitive to hygiene and suffered greatly from mastitis with my first child, so hygiene management and chest massage were my top priorities. Thanks to her, I was able to relieve my worries and enjoy a comfortable postpartum recovery. 🚨 Urgent Agency Selection & First Meeting Ahead of giving birth, I contracted with a famous agency, but because the actual situation differed from what was announced, I had to cancel the contract just two weeks before my due date. I hurriedly looked into other agencies, but it was difficult as their schedules didn't match. HappyMom was the only one that introduced a caregiver with a matching schedule, so I signed right away. However, after being discharged, it was difficult to continue with the first caregiver due to hygiene issues, so I specifically requested the director for a veteran caregiver again. That is how my connection with Caregiver Michelle Hwang began. During the interview, her calm, comfortable voice and warm impression gave me the greatest trust. Living together for nearly 40 days proved that my first impression was not wrong at all. We originally signed a 4-week contract, but after about 2 weeks, I felt complete certainty that I wanted to continue with her, so I extended it to 8 weeks without hesitation. ❤️ 5 Most Satisfying Points 1. Thorough Hygiene Management Because of my past experience, I was very sensitive about hygiene, but she completely cleared my concerns. When she first arrived at our home, I was surprised and deeply impressed to see her thoroughly wipe the wheels of her suitcase with wet wipes before coming inside. She always wore disposable vinyl gloves when assembling baby bottles and emptied the indoor trash cans multiple times a day to maintain a clean environment. Furthermore, I was deeply moved by her delicacy in cleaning the toilet so that I could sit for a sitz bath in a clean spot. 2. Chest Massage that Relieved Mastitis Concerns Following my first child, I pumped breast milk for my second child as well. Unlike my painful memories with my first, Caregiver Michelle performed chest massages for me every single day. She didn't just massage; her hand technique unplugged clogged milk ducts without pain and brought great relief, allowing me to pump comfortably without a single case of mastitis. Personally, this was the biggest help. 3. Newborn Care & Bonding with Baby She quickly grasped the baby's patterns and naturally established a routine. It was truly impressive to see her constantly talk to the baby and bond with sincere care. 4. Customized Home Meals & Consideration for My First Child Using ingredients available at home, she prepared warm, home-cooked meals tailored to a mother's nutritional needs, and I was grateful for her consideration in asking what I wanted to eat. In particular, she prepared low-sodium meals for my first child. Recovering after giving birth to my second child while caring for my first meant I couldn't take many photos of the food, but thanks to the meals she prepared, I was able to recover strongly every day. 5. Proactive Delicacy & Bright Energy Being short on sleep and recovering, asking for minor favors can feel like a chore, but she prepared necessary things in advance without me having to ask. Her personality was always bright and positive, illuminating the house atmosphere during a time when I could be emotionally sensitive after childbirth. ✍️ Concluding the Review Since neither my parents nor my in-laws could help due to circumstances, Caregiver Michelle warmly looked after us so that their absence was not felt at all. She is someone our family is truly grateful for, providing a strong pillar of support for both body and mind. I was slightly hesitant at first because she didn't have online reviews, but it turned out she is someone who doesn't ask mothers to leave reviews. Because I was so satisfied that I extended for 8 weeks, I am leaving an honest review in hopes that it will help other mothers struggling with selecting a caregiver. Caregiver Michelle lives near OC and prefers commuting, but she can also provide live-in postpartum care out of state. Please contact the director of HappyMom to check Caregiver Michelle Hwang's availability :) From Dublin, California"

"I highly recommend HappyMom's Caregiver Jini! (I can't believe I'm writing a review when I was originally planning not to hire a postpartum doula.) I never imagined I would leave a review on Missy. Honestly, my husband and I initially thought we could handle everything on our own without hiring a caregiver. Besides the cost, living in the same house with a stranger didn't seem easy, and if her cooking or baby care style didn't match mine, I thought it would just be extra stress. So we were strongly leaning towards doing it ourselves. However, my mother-in-law kept insisting that postpartum care is an absolute must, so we hurriedly began looking for an agency. Since it was my first baby, I had worries about whether I could do well, and I thought it would be great if I could meet an experienced caregiver to learn from. I read numerous reviews on Missy and ended up contacting HappyMom. That’s how we connected with Caregiver Jini and spent 4 wonderful weeks together. Once she arrived, all of my worries completely disappeared. Food: The food was unbelievably delicious. Every single meal was neat and elegant. Every morning, she would ask, "What would you like to eat today?" and brainstorm the menu with me, and she always made me a fresh smoothie in the morning. She prepared a wide variety of cuisines—Korean, Chinese, Western, and Japanese—with a different menu every day, giving my tastebuds a true feast. I was so happy that 'Jini Restaurant' opened in our house! She is so full of warmth and always greeted us brightly. Just eating the breakfast she prepared and having a cheerful morning greeting gave me the energy to start the day. Making three meals a day is no easy task, but worrying that we wouldn't be able to eat properly after she left, she prepared seaweed soup, shrimp curry rice, jajang, kimchi stew, ox tail soup, hamburg steak, beef radish soup, and various side dishes until our freezer was completely packed! I feel like we have enough food to last a whole month after her departure... Just looking at the freezer reassures me. Also, when she saw the seasoning paste my mom sent from Korea in the freezer, she immediately made fresh geotjeori (fresh kimchi) with it. I really feel like I gained an auntie who feels like a mother to me in LA... Thank you so much for genuinely caring for us, not just doing a job. I want to show off to everyone, so it's a shame I can only upload 3 photos! Newborn Care & Maternal Care: Oh my, she loved our baby so much... When she first arrived, our baby's day and night cycles were completely reversed. She established feeding intervals step-by-step and set up a sleep pattern so the baby would stay awake during the day and sleep at night. She went through so much trouble sleeping while caring for the baby at night. I learned so much from her—from feeding intervals and sleep routines to how to bathe the baby. Furthermore, she didn't just care for the baby; she took great care of me as a new mom. She taught me how to increase milk supply for breastfeeding, gave me chest massages to prevent mastitis, and continuously checked and corrected my nursing posture. Thanks to her, breastfeeding became much easier. She meticulously taught me umbilical cord care and baby bathing, and for our first hospital check-up, she packed the baby bag with everything needed without missing a single item. First-time parents don't even know what they don't know, so having her proactively pay attention to those minor details was truly reassuring. Above all, I was most grateful for her emotional care. During our daily chats, she listened to all my worries, and I found myself opening up to her completely. She was a huge pillar of emotional support. She didn’t just help with physical recovery; caring for me as a new mom gave me immense strength over those 4 weeks. We constantly had "Auntie, please take a rest" on our lips because she worked non-stop. We felt so thankful and sorry that she worked so hard for our family, and honestly, if it would help, I'd want to write a hundred reviews like this. I've already sincerely recommended her to other moms in my community, and if anyone asks in the future, I will recommend Caregiver Jini without hesitation. If anyone happens to be assigned Caregiver Jini, I want to tell you that you really don't have to worry at all. If you are hesitant like I was about whether to use a postpartum doula, I recommend her even more confidently. Above all, I was so grateful that Caregiver Jini was the first person outside of us parents to spend a long time with our baby Seo and shower him with love. Thank you so much for always genuinely adoring him, holding him, and caring for him with love. Lastly, thank you for loving and caring for our dog as well. Our family will remember you for a very long time. 💝 From San Jose Sunnyvale"

"When I think back on our postpartum journey, I honestly cannot imagine what those first months would have looked like without Angela Yimo. We often say that certain people come into our lives for a reason, and that is exactly how I feel about her. During one of the most beautiful, overwhelming, vulnerable, and exhausting seasons of our lives, she became so much more than a postpartum nanny. She was a steady source of support, experience, and encouragement. Looking back, I truly believe God sent her to walk alongside our family during this special time. As first-time parents, there were countless moments when we felt unsure, exhausted, or overwhelmed. Recovering from a C-section while caring for a newborn was far more challenging than I anticipated, and having her by our side made all the difference. From helping us navigate feeding and sleep routines to preparing nourishing meals and creating a calm, supportive home environment, she allowed us to focus on healing, bonding with our daughter, and growing into our new roles as parents. Her experience gave us confidence during moments when we otherwise would have felt lost. What sets her apart is not only her knowledge and professionalism, but also the genuine love she provided our girl. She comes with a depth of experience and expertise from caring for countless mothers and babies over the years, and we benefited tremendously from her wisdom. At the same time, she didn’t approach caregiving with a one-size-fits-all mindset. She was thoughtful, open-minded, and willing to listen to our preferences as parents. Rather than always insisting things be done a certain way, she partnered with us, offered guidance when we wanted it, respected our decisions, and helped us become more confident in our own parenting style. That balance of experience and willingness to try new things made us feel truly supported rather than judged. Beyond her childcare expertise, she is one of the most hardworking and efficient people I have ever met. She is incredibly organized, clean, and diligent. Our home was always tidy and well cared for, and she treated our belongings with the same respect she would her own. She is also an excellent cook. Throughout her time with us, she prepared delicious Korean meals, nourishing postpartum dishes, fresh salads, and healthy food that helped support my recovery. One thing I appreciated was how thoughtful she was with resources—she was never wasteful and was always mindful about using ingredients, supplies, and household items responsibly. Her attention to detail, practical intelligence, and strong work ethic were evident. In fact, when we first hired her, we planned for her to stay with us for two months. As the end of that period approached, we simply could not imagine life without her. We extended for a third month because having her in our home had become such a strong source of comfort. That decision alone probably says more than anything else I could write. As the founder of Happy Mom Postpartum Care, she has built an agency that reflects the same qualities she embodies personally: compassion, trustworthiness, professionalism, expertise, and dedication to mothers and families. It is clear that she understands that postpartum support is about far more than helping with a baby—it is about caring for the mother, supporting the family, and helping create an environment where everyone can thrive during a major life transition. Although her time living with us has come to an end, our relationship with her certainly has not. We fully intend to stay in touch, and she will always be part of our daughter’s story. Years from now, when we look back at photos and memories from those first precious months of our daughter's life, she will be woven throughout them. She was there during the sleepless nights, the first smiles, the moments of uncertainty, and the moments of joy. She helped shape the foundation of our family’s earliest days together, and for that we will always be grateful. We thank God for bringing her into our lives during such an important chapter. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and I wholeheartedly recommend Happy Mom Postpartum Care to any family seeking postpartum support."

"Auntie Michelle, Thank you so much for taking such thoughtful care of our family of three for 3 weeks. The love and affection you showed Ace were especially moving. After giving birth, my body was in a very difficult condition, but you cared for me like my own mother. Thanks to you, both my body and my heart were able to recover well. I am sincerely grateful. We also enjoyed all the delicious, healthy food you prepared for us. I will always pray that you stay healthy and that everything you do goes well. From Ace's family"

"Dear Imo, Thank you so, so much for taking care of Hana this month. Hana, Steven, and I were truly lucky to meet you. You taught us everything, and as first-time parents, we learned so much from you. Thank you for being with us for the past month with love, support, and patience. Even though our family visited every day, you treated everyone with such kindness and patience. I know this is not easy work, and I came to understand how hard it is each day. Thank you so much. Our Hana will be grateful to you too. We respect and love you. We will miss you so much when you leave. Let's continue to stay in touch. Thank you again and again. With love, Connie and Hana"

"First of all, I want to say that Heo Kyongsuk took good care of my baby. She cared us much better than I thought. She took really good care of us like her family. I was so happy that I could focus on recovery without worrying about anything because of her. She also took good care of my first child and my first child liked her very much. I already miss her so much. I hope she lives in my house to care us for the rest of her life. It’s not enough to say thank you very much to her."

"Postpartum Care Service Review | A Happy Month with HappyMom's Caregiver Jini 💕 My biggest concern during postpartum recovery was, 'How can I take care of my baby while also recovering my own body?' But thanks to Caregiver Jini, who came to our house through HappyMom, I had an unforgettable month. 👩🍳 Sincere Meals Every Time She prepared delicious and neat meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and I could feel her sincerity in every single dish. Especially, the seaweed soup was so good that the word "artistic" came out naturally, conveying not only the taste but also her warm heart. Furthermore, she prepared separate meals for my vegetarian husband and always remembered to cook the dishes I said I wanted to eat, which deeply moved me. 👶 The Best Baby Care! Jini loved and cared for the baby so much that I wondered if anyone could show this much affection. She held the baby every night until she fell fast asleep, allowing me to get plenty of rest. Thanks to her, I could spend the daytime happily bonding with my baby, and I gradually gained confidence. 🐱 Caring Even for Our Cat We also have a cat living with us, and Jini warmly loved and cared for our cat as well as the baby. Thanks to her, the atmosphere of the house was peaceful and warm throughout her stay. 💔 Tears of Regret When Saying Goodbye... Thanks to her, I learned a lot about how to take care of a newborn, which gave me great confidence for my future parenting. Spending a month like this was like a dream, and on the last day, I found myself crying because I was so sad to say goodbye. I highly recommend HappyMom services to expectant mothers who are considering postpartum care! It was a precious time where I could fully trust her, and it warmed my heart."

"I gave birth to my second child on May 5th and booked postpartum care through HappyMom for the first time. It was so hard when we tried to do it ourselves with our first, so it was a huge relief to have Elena, a professional caregiver, come and ease our anxiety. First, she took great care of the baby during both the day and night so that I, the mother, could rest comfortably and sleep well. Second, she took such good care of the baby that I could fully trust her and rest peacefully, and even go out. She also played so well with our first child, who loved her so much and looked for her every morning. Third, she prepared neat, delicious, and balanced meals tailored to our taste, making our family meal times delightful. Lastly, she talked with me a lot, so I didn't feel lonely. I really loved spending 20 days with her. Now that she is gone, my first child keeps looking for her, and the house feels so empty. If you need postpartum care, I highly recommend caregiver Elena from HappyMom!"

"I recently gave birth and received live-in postpartum care services. I was so satisfied with the service that I decided to write this review, hoping it might help expectant mothers who are preparing for childbirth. I hope my personal experience serves as a helpful reference for your choice. I contacted three different agencies and conducted telephone and video interviews with six postpartum caregivers before signing a live-in contract. In the end, I chose Auntie Tina from HappyMom, and looking back, it was truly the best decision! Both my husband and I were extremely satisfied for the following reasons: Reason 1: Every single meal was absolutely delicious, healthy, and neatly prepared. She is an amazing cook, and I got to eat as much delicious and healthy Korean food as I wanted! Beef rolls, grilled mackerel, ginseng chicken soup, grilled eel, and more—every meal was diverse and nutritious. Even now as I write this, I miss her cooking so much... My husband and I even asked her if she had any plans to open a side dish shop, saying we would visit her shop every week instead of the grocery store! Reason 2: Caring for a newborn at night is exhausting, but because she looked after the baby overnight, my husband and I were able to sleep soundly and deeply. Thanks to that, my physical recovery was very fast, and it minimized mental fatigue. Reason 3: Since this was our first baby, we didn't know much, but she taught us so many things and significantly reduced our trial and error in parenting. - She managed the formula feeding amount so well that the baby gained weight steadily. - For our newborn's first checkup, she packed our diaper bag, and the blanket she included was a lifesaver. We didn't know that newborns are examined only in their diapers, so without that blanket, we would have been so flustered and the baby would have been cold. - She taught my husband how to bathe the baby, which was very important. We learned a lot just by watching her bathe the baby. Reason 4: She gave me a breast massage every day and a belly and leg massage every other day, which was wonderful! After childbirth, there is a period when your belly suddenly goes down, and the abdominal massages were a huge help. She also made sure I did my sitz baths regularly! Reason 5: She was a great companion for conversations. She always emphasized that the mother must rest and handled all the chores (laundry, kitchen organization, light cleaning) while keeping me away from exhausting baby care. But when I got bored in the afternoon and came out of my room, we would have wonderful chats. For me, this was incredibly healing and energizing. She was polite, knowledgeable, and humble, so there was really so much to learn from her! Reason 6: She adored our baby with all her heart. It wasn't just professional care; she genuinely loved our baby. Even after the service ended, she called us to ask if the baby was doing well, how much formula the baby was drinking, and if the baby was growing healthy. This part touched me deeply. It is rare to find someone who cares with such a sincere heart. Especially for those giving birth to their first child in the US without any family to help, I strongly recommend Auntie Tina from HappyMom! Since I found phone calls a bit intimidating at first, I first reached out via KakaoTalk and then called later. I'll leave the contact details below, hoping it helps those who want to inquire: KakaoTalk ID: Happy-mom Director's Phone: 213-999-4642"

"I am Ashley's mom, who recently gave birth to my second child and was assigned a postpartum caregiver through HappyMom. Auntie Michelle spent 6 weeks with us. As soon as she arrived, she organized the refrigerator and pantry and immediately got to work preparing soups and side dishes. Tailoring to our taste buds, she made ox tail soup, braised short ribs, dried pollack soup, seaweed soup, bulgogi, curry, radish salad, anchovies, seasoned zucchini, and more. She also brewed ginger jujube tea which is great for reducing swelling, and made sure to provide snacks like savory pancakes, sweet potatoes, and fresh fruits right on time. Even as she was leaving, she prepared a generous amount of side dishes and soups for us. And above all, the breast massage for lactation was extremely helpful. When breast milk starts coming in, the breasts swell and hurt, but Auntie Michelle skillfully massaged them, helping the milk come in quickly. Besides that, the body massage for swelling recovery was also incredibly refreshing and highly recommended!! She also adores babies so much. When the baby was awake, she kept eye contact, talked to the baby, and sang songs. The conversation never stopped when she was changing diapers or bathing the baby. Furthermore, she put a lot of effort into establishing a sleep routine so that it would be less difficult for me after she left. Thanks to that, the baby, who used to wake up and play at night, is now sleeping very well through the night as Auntie Michelle's time to leave approaches. I think this is the greatest gift of all for mothers. Thank you so much to Auntie Michelle, who truly loves and adores children, and thank you also to the representative of HappyMom."

"Hello Auntie Jeanie! It's Heeyeon. Thank you so much for coming to our house to take care of Arin. I can't imagine how we would have spent the first few weeks after being discharged from the hospital without you. Since we had our baby later in life, we felt so inadequate and knew nothing about babies, but you taught us everything step-by-step from the very beginning and cared for our Arin with genuine sincerity and love. I am so grateful for that. Thank you also for taking such good care of our Hugo as a bonus! I feel a bit lost wondering if we will get through this well after you leave, but we will do our best to raise Arin well using the tips and knowledge we learned from you!! We will also send you photos of Arin as she grows up to stay in touch. I will keep the advice and everyday conversations you shared with me like a real mother tucked away in my heart, so that I can draw strength from them when times get tough in life. It breaks my heart to feel like you worked so hard and didn't get enough sleep at our house. Despite how tiring it must have been, you always brought bright energy, which I will always remember. Just thinking about saying goodbye to you makes me sad already, but I will do my best to focus on becoming a good parent. Hoping we can meet again next year in Texas or LA as we promised... - Heeyeon Hello Auntie, thank you so much for taking such good care of our baby with all your heart. We cannot thank you enough for loving and caring for our baby and helping us rest comfortably. Thanks to your warm touch and consideration, it was a huge source of strength for us. We will never forget the kindness you showed us. Please always stay healthy and happy! - Kiwan Thank you, Auntie Jeanie. Warm regards from Heeyeon and Kiwan in Austin."

"Since it was my first time giving birth, I had a lot of worries and felt clumsy in many ways, but thanks to caregiver Tina, I received tremendous help with my recovery and baby care. She looked after my baby with genuine love and gave me so much valuable advice on breastfeeding and baby care, which was a huge source of strength for me as a first-time mother. Thanks to her, I was able to focus on my recovery and gained a lot of confidence in parenting. Especially during the difficult late-night feedings, she stayed up with me, taking charge of burping and putting the baby to sleep, which made it much easier for me to recover my health and successfully succeed in direct breastfeeding. She was always so bright and warm that I felt completely at ease throughout our time together. I am sincerely grateful, and I confidently recommend her to anyone looking for a postpartum caregiver."

"The best choice I made after giving birth to my first child in Virginia was using HappyMom's service. My baby had their days and nights swapped and was struggling, but Auntie Linda came and perfectly fixed the sleep pattern in just 8 weeks. Now the baby falls asleep on their own at 10 PM and sleeps through the night until 6 AM. Beyond just looking after the baby, she taught me one by one the logic-based education I need when raising the baby alone in the future, which was a huge help. If you want professional newborn care, definitely request for her."

"Dallas moms, pay attention!! ㅎㅎ I met the caregiver of my life through HappyMom! First of all, the food... wow... Seaweed soup is basic, and she made bibimbap, California rolls, and even handmade dumplings with ingredients hard to find in Texas! My husband would barely eat lunch just to come home and eat her food ㅋㅋㅋ She was so meticulous with the baby care, writing a daily log and checking everything from the baby's bowel movements to feeding amounts, so as a first-time mom, I had so much to learn. Thank you so much, Auntie Jenny! You're the best! 👍👍"

"I was worried that hosting a live-in caregiver in a small New York apartment might be an inconvenience, but Auntie Clara was a true professional. I was amazed at how she could whip up healthy meals in a cramped kitchen without ever getting in the way. My baby was sensitive to Manhattan's noise, but thanks to the white noise and swaddling techniques she taught me, the 'back sensor' is almost gone. For those like me who gave birth alone in a foreign land without help, HappyMom isn't a choice, it's a necessity. Thanks to them, I survived the hellish 'solo parenting'."

"I really felt like my own mother had come... ㅠㅠ Since I had a first child, I couldn't go to a postpartum care center and was at a loss, but as soon as the caregiver arrived, she took care of my first child's snacks and won their heart, allowing me to recover in peace. Especially at night when the baby woke up and I was struggling, she would say 'Mom, go and sleep' and take the baby; I almost burst into tears. On the last day, my first child held onto her leg and cried, so we all ended up in a sea of tears. For those in New Jersey worried about postpartum care, I strongly recommend Auntie Hannah!! "I was worried because I was a twin and high-risk mother, but I recovered with peace of mind thanks to Esther. She is so skilled in care that the baby falls into a deep sleep as soon as she goes into her arms. Especially, I was able to succeed in breastfeeding, which I failed with my first child, thanks to her breast massage. Her cooking skills were also excellent, so my first child, who is a picky eater, really ate her food well."

"I gave birth to my second child at the end of March and was with Jenny, and it was the best choice! She has a kind and friendly personality, and her cooking and baby care are perfect. Even my shy husband wished she could stay at our house for life. I recommend her to those who want to recover in a comfortable mind like being with their biological mother."

"I recommend Angela! She loved the baby so much and took care of everything from head shape correction to defecation records. Especially her cooking skills were great, so the body recovery was pleasant thanks to the homemade kimchi and various snacks. I was so satisfied that I even extended for a week. She says she's available for March and April, so be sure to contact her!"

"I got a lot of information through the mom cafe, and to help even a little with information on childbirth and postpartum care in a foreign land, I am posting a review around the 8th week of giving birth. Due to my husband's sudden dispatch, I came to the US at 28 weeks of pregnancy. I wasn't too worried about delivery since it's something that happens in any country, but I was very worried about postpartum care and baby care. There was a postpartum care center in my area, but it closed early. Just in case, I put myself on the waiting list and quickly looked for a postpartum caregiver. I thought about bringing my mother, but I thought my elderly mother would just suffer, and conflict might arise due to differences between my mother's parenting style and today's methods, so I thought, 'Let's hire someone!' Personally, I think hiring a postpartum caregiver was fully worth it. That's also why I am writing this post now ^^ For reference, I contracted for 4 weeks, and since I was satisfied, I extended for 2 more weeks. First, I received a lot of help with postpartum recovery. I prided myself on having a healthy constitution, so I actually didn't worry or care much about postpartum recovery. But after giving birth, I really became a different person. Throughout the 2-night 3-day hospital stay, rooming-in with a painful body was so difficult, and my joints felt completely loose after delivery. In time for my discharge, the postpartum caregiver came to my house, and her words 'Go sleep and rest first' made me feel like I was in heaven haha. She brought seaweed, grains, and basic ingredients herself and whipped up a wonderful meal in no time, and I think I spent the entire first week just eating and sleeping. Thanks to sleeping enough when I wanted and eating well, I recovered almost to my previous state within a week. Since I received recovery care at home, my husband and I had a lot of time together, and being able to see the baby when I wanted was also a part that gave a lot of emotional help. On days when the weather was nice, I left the baby with the postpartum caregiver and went out nearby to get some fresh air. I think that would have been unimaginable without the caregiver. Naturally, she also looked after the baby with great care. Caring for a baby day and night is physically demanding no matter how used to it you are, yet it was nice to see her treat the baby without ever showing irritation or fatigue. Also, she has a lot of general knowledge and experience about babies, so having the opportunity to watch and learn by her side was also satisfying. During our stay at the hospital, the baby seemed to have a stuffed nose perhaps because it was dry, but the hospital said the oxygen saturation was fine and did nothing. However, as soon as we got home, the caregiver told me about a nasal aspirator, so I bought it right away, and from that day on, I could feel the baby was comfortable. Even when it was time to finish, she didn't just leave strictly on the clock, but did her best according to the baby's situation and condition. When it was time for the baby to sleep, she stayed until the baby fell into a deep sleep. Once, the baby was struggling due to a bowel movement issue, and she showed a responsible attitude by massaging him until he passed stools. These small actions relieved a lot of the difficulties for me and my husband who had to look after the baby on weekends. I am not the type to express myself well, so I couldn't tell her, but I was so grateful and it was a huge strength. Food and household management were also very satisfying parts. Without throwing away food in the house wastefully, she used it thriftily to cook, and if I told her the side dishes or food I wanted, she made anything for us. Thanks to her, I ate foods like bibimbap, California rolls, and pork bone soup, which I never expected to eat in the US. She also made kimchi and radish kimchi, filled up side dishes with remaining ingredients until the day she left, and stocked up a lot of the food my husband and I liked in the freezer, so even now, 2 weeks later, we are taking it out and eating it haha. She also cleaned and organized the house in between, so now I am continuing what she did and staying clean. I also looked up many posts about postpartum caregivers, and yet I worried a lot about what kind of person she would be and if we would get along well until I actually met her. But as a result, hiring a postpartum caregiver was a really good decision. I saw some bad reviews about postpartum caregivers, which made me feel sad and upset too. Since there are caregivers who are truly good and fit you well, I write this hoping you will have an expectant heart. The agency I received help from is 'HappyMom'."

"I am a mother who gave birth to her first baby in the US. Neither my parents nor my parents-in-law were in a situation to come here, so I had many worries about postpartum recovery after giving birth. So I was looking for a live-in postpartum caregiver, read reviews and recommendation posts one by one, interviewed caregivers one by one through an agency, decided on the caregiver I liked the most, and signed a contract. And now I am receiving postpartum care ^^ To state the conclusion first, I highly recommend our caregiver! First, she truly loves the baby. She is always by our baby's side, soothing him when he cries, taking care of formula and pumped breast milk, changing diapers, and singing songs. The baby seems to sleep better when listening to that song ^^ Also, there was a time when our baby was struggling because he couldn't pass stools, and she massaged his stomach and held him to soothe him all night long ㅠㅠ I also cried because the baby kept crying, but the caregiver also cried with me and comforted him with the same heart ㅠㅠ At that time, I felt her warm heart, like a real mother. Thanks to that, the baby passed stools comfortably again from the next day. I think massaging his stomach warmly and continuously rubbing his back helped. I want to thank her again now ㅠㅠ Also, she took care of the baby all night so my husband and I slept soundly at night. This helped my body recover so much. Sleep is truly important for postpartum recovery. Second, she takes care of the mother so well. I discharged after being hospitalized for 2 nights and 3 days, and my milk hadn't come in yet, but the caregiver gave me a breast massage every day, opening the milk ducts and letting the milk flow. From that day, I worked hard on direct feeding and pumping, and now I am mostly giving breast milk to the baby. And along with the breast massage, she also gave me back and leg massages, so I am recovering coolly. Actually, the time I received a massage in the evening was the most anticipated and best time ^^ And she cooks so well. Saying she definitely wanted to cook seaweed soup for me herself, she bought good ingredients and made seaweed soup. It was so refreshing, savory, and delicious ㅠㅠ I didn't originally eat rice well, but I am finishing a bowl by mixing it in her seaweed soup. If I tell her what side dishes or food I want, she makes them all really deliciously and quickly ㅠㅠ Thanks to that, my milk seems to come out better, so I am even more grateful. Third, she runs the household really well. Actually, I am not good at housekeeping, so I have a lot of stuff here and there, but as soon as she arrived at our house, she started organizing the kitchen. Thanks to her, the messy kitchen became so clean... I realized our house could be organized like this.. haha Besides this, as a senior in life who has raised children, the words, encouragement, and comfort she gives me are so helpful ㅠㅠ Most of all, saying that the mother must be happy, our caregiver takes care of me with a heart like a real mother ㅠㅠ I am so glad to have met such a caregiver ㅠㅠ This is a review of a caregiver I paid for with my own money, I also received a lot of help through MissyUSA, and I want to provide information as much as I received help, so I am leaving this honest review ^^ I think the caregiver is in LA, but she can go anywhere in all regions. Actually, I am in another region, but we are living together on a live-in basis ^^ For reference, the agency I consulted and conducted interviews with is "HappyMom". https://happymom7080.com If you go to the homepage, there is information such as prices, so it would be good to refer to it. If you have more questions, leave a message or comment and I will give you information. Then everyone, have a safe delivery, and fighting to all of us in parenting!! ^^ *Note: caregiver lives in LA but travels nationwide."

"I was really worried about having to do postpartum care alone in the US in December without my mother... Even though there were still several months left until my delivery after signing the contract, the director often contacted me to ask about my physical condition and warmly encouraged me not to worry. Even right after giving birth, she contacted me immediately to give sincere advice and support, which was a huge source of strength. Although I was extremely exhausted after giving birth, the caregiver who visited our house gave detailed and warm care just like a real mother. In particular, the 10-day breast massage she gave me was a huge help. I had many difficulties starting breastfeeding for the first time, but the pain was relieved and breastfeeding became very easy through the breast massage. Later, I was even worried because too much milk came out. Also, the well-balanced diet was truly touching. Every meal was filled with food to help recovery, and the meals she prepared with care warmed not only my body but also my heart! Additionally, I had a hard time because of severe swelling after giving birth, but the sitz baths and foot baths were effective in relieving swelling and fatigue. After doing sitz baths and foot baths every day, my body felt much lighter and refreshed. Thanks to that, my body's recovery speed also seemed to have accelerated, so I was really satisfied! Most of all, what touched me was that the caregiver looked after our baby with love, just like her own grandchild. I was so grateful for her warm heart and gaze every time she held the baby. Seeing her interact with the baby, smiling and playing, put my mind at ease, and thanks to that, I was able to rest and sleep comfortably. For me, who had many worries about postpartum care, this service was really helpful, and I would like to actively recommend it to new mothers raising a baby for the first time in the US!"

"Through my mother's introduction, I received postpartum care from caregiver Tina. When I returned home exhausted in both body and mind from childbirth, I was at a loss as to how to care for the baby, but the caregiver systematically took care of the baby, the mother's meals, and body recovery so that I could rest with peace of mind. I was able to gradually recover my strength by eating three delicious Korean meals prepared with care every day and receiving leg massages. Also, at the hospital, I had shed tears every night due to breastfeeding issues, but following the method the caregiver taught me, the baby fed well and I was able to rest sufficiently, making breastfeeding much easier. If the caregiver hadn't been here, both the baby and I would have struggled a lot. I sincerely thank you."

"As my delivery date approached, people around me told me to look into postpartum care carefully, saying it's crucial to do it really well. While researching here and there, the HappyMom representative kindly set up a schedule to match my delivery date. When I asked her to just send a good person, others told me I shouldn't do that, but I told the representative, 'I trust you, so I'll just focus on delivery!' Thanks to the postpartum caregiver I met after giving birth, I have now fully recovered! As soon as she arrived, she adored the baby so much, yet she first washed her hands, changed into clean clothes, and put on a mask before touching the baby. I really trusted her from our very first meeting! Every single day she loved the baby, was extremely strict about hygiene and cleanliness, and always maintained the proper temperature and humidity for the baby, so the baby never got heat rash. When we first discharged, the baby was quite tall but below average weight and even had jaundice, which worried me a lot. However, she adjusted the feeding times and amounts so well that the baby never had colic once and gained weight above average! We were able to spend a healthy newborn phase! I also had a very difficult time due to an emergency C-section, but she figured out all of the baby's feeding times, sleeping times, and small patterns, using the time efficiently to take perfect care of me as well! Food was also prepared nutritiously in a short time, and she gave me massages in between, so my swelling went down quickly throughout the postpartum care, and I could feel my body recovering day by day! Even my OB-GYN was surprised to see my recovery speed at the 2-week postpartum checkup, so much so that I ended up boasting about the power of Korean postpartum care! 🙂 Thanks to HappyMom, I had a comfortable month of postpartum care and returned to my daily routine to leave this review, which I highly recommend. I especially recommend it to first-time mothers! Like me, many things might be scary and unfamiliar to you, but the postpartum caregiver looked after us with sincerity, encouraging me like a real mother to help me become a mom who will raise the child, and taught me a lot of wisdom. Thanks to her, I have lessened my fears and am growing day by day as a true mother, both for myself and my baby! Thank you, Auntie Tina, and thank you, HappyMom 🙂"

"It was an IVF pregnancy and also my first delivery (and I was a bit older), so as soon as I confirmed the pregnancy, I made a reservation with HappyMom. I wasn't sure if my parents in Korea could come in time for the delivery date. Through HappyMom's introduction, I met Auntie Tina in time for my discharge date. At first, I was a bit worried because I had a dog and a foreign husband who couldn't speak Korean at all. I think it was a real blessing to meet Auntie Tina. Since it was our first child, my husband and I knew nothing about babies, but she set up a proper routine for the baby so well. After she left, our 5-week-old baby slept through the night for 5 hours. She taught us everything from the basics, as we didn't even know how to hold the baby or the correct breastfeeding posture. She taught us detailed parts such as how to soothe a crying baby, how to feed with a bottle that the baby wouldn't take right away, how to do mixed feeding, what to ask at the pediatrician's office, etc., so we learned solid basic knowledge and methods for raising a child. Every three meals she prepared were so well-suited to our taste that my foreign husband told me to ask her for the recipes. She also managed the mother's care really well. She gave me foot baths, sitz baths, and massages every day. Personally, I loved it when she talked about raising her three children. It was great to hear about how each child's personality is different and how to respond as a mother according to the situation and the child's age as they grow up. I felt so attached to her that I was a bit sad when she left. Although I started the postpartum care half in doubt at first, looking back now, I started it so well thanks to HappyMom and Auntie Tina."

"We chose live-in postpartum care for our first baby, and it was a truly satisfying time. Thanks to the detailed care from the director and Auntie Jenny, I was able to focus on recovery with peace of mind. The baby adapted well from the beginning and drank milk well, so watching him grow plump and healthy day by day gave me great reassurance. I was also surprised that my recovery, from swelling management to overall healing, was much faster than expected. She meticulously took care of the sitz baths, and regularly provided nutritious meals helpful for maternal recovery along with breast massages, allowing both my body and mind to recover comfortably. I had many worries since it was my first time, but thanks to the warm and detailed care, I spent the postpartum recovery period very well. I highly recommend this to anyone considering postpartum care."

"After giving birth to my baby via C-section, I received postpartum care from HappyMom caregiver Anna for 1 week (5 days). I didn't know much about babies, and started in a difficult state physically due to an unplanned C-section, but the caregiver helped my baby and me so much that I recovered well, and the baby is doing great too. The caregiver taught me a lot, such as how to care for the baby, and paid close attention to my diet and checked my massage and physical condition frequently so that the mother could recover quickly. While I was receiving postpartum care, there was a holiday, and she made delicious food to celebrate the holiday, so I could feel the holiday mood and had a pleasant time. I was grateful that the caregiver took care of the baby and me really like family, and thanks to that, I recovered well, almost all of the swelling went down, and the wound healed quickly, so I could start my daily life right away. It was a helpful time to the point that I recommend it to all my acquaintances who are pregnant or preparing for pregnancy! Thank you so much to the director of HappyMom too."

"Hello 🙂 I applied for HappyMom for 2 weeks (14 nights 15 days), and spent a comfortable time thanks to caregiver Angela. Every morning and evening, she prepared meals centered on Korean food with all her heart. Even though I often didn't have an appetite, I was able to eat well. Thanks to that, it was a big help for my physical recovery too. Actually, I thought there wouldn't be much difficulty since my husband was here, but our baby got colic, so we had a hard time taking turns looking after him every night. In those moments, I was deeply grateful to her for taking the initiative to help even at dawn. I was at my physical limit, but it put my mind at ease. Even when the baby was fussy and couldn't sleep well due to sensitivity, she didn't find it annoying and followed along well as we tried this and that according to the doctor's guidelines and shared methods we saw on YouTube, worrying together with us. That was really great. She was also very quick-handed, so she performed bathing and diaper care skillfully, took photos of the baby from time to time, and even prepared a baby doll gift for Christmas, which was touching 🎄 Thanks to caregiver Angela, we were able to safely get through times that would have been overwhelming for just the two of us. On the last day, we said goodbye with the words "Let's meet in Seoul next time"... I felt really sad 😭 It was a grateful 2 weeks."

"I am so, so grateful to caregiver Angela who came in a hurry the day after I was discharged from the hospital! As soon as she arrived, she checked the baby's condition and caught what the baby needed right away, figured out the amount of formula the baby should eat, and immediately replenished what was needed. She managed everything from formula and diaper care to the living environment in a really clean and professional way, helping the baby adjust comfortably to the home. As first-time parents, we were able to see our baby looking happy thanks to her 💕 Especially the breast massage was really the best! I had a hard time because my breast milk didn't come out well, but with just one massage from Angela, I could feel a difference in my breasts the very next day, and now I have plenty of breast milk. It was truly amazing! She is also so delicate in looking after the baby at night. She carefully takes care of every single detail, from how much the baby should eat to how to dress the baby to adjust the temperature. Every meal she prepared was also delicious, and she prepared the diet I requested with all her heart! My husband also kept praising her food after eating it. I was really touched to see her organize the kitchen so neatly after meals! I sincerely and highly recommend caregiver Angela, who cared for me even more than my mother and loved our baby so much! Thank you once again to the caregiver and the director 🙏"
